Motor Mania! - From matchbox cars to real-live dragsters, kids can get their motors running at the Garden State Discovery Museum’s Motor Mania on Saturday, July 19. At 11 a.m., they’ll get a behind-the-scenes look at The Car Video by filmmaker Dan Schwartz and pick up their own autographed copy! Museum visitors will be invited to create and race their own concept cars and meet South Jersey’s teen dragster Maria Baehr, who will be there from noon to 2 p.m. with her racecar. The Discovery Museum, 2040 Springdale Road in Cherry Hill, N.J., will be open 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. that day. Admission of $9.95 for 12 months and older; $8.95 for seniors offers access to all the Museum’s interactive exhibits plus the Motor Mania activities.
